The track with vocals is "The Weigth of History" or is it the other one (the lyrics seems to say "Only once away my son")? I thought maybe my copy had inverted labels but I see the youtube clips here are the same: the track with vocals seems to be TWOH and the instrumental is called Only Once away My Son? Aren't the tracks and labels mismatched in these release or am I trippin?

Evidence that it is 5,000 copies?I had seen 900 copies listed at my local record shop. That might just be UK number, I suppose. Saw it at £14.99 and £16.99 in UK shops.

I've been playing it at 33 1/3 and it sounds great but does it say what speed it should be played at and i just can't find it?

It is 33 1/3 but sounds great too on 45

I think side A sounds better at 45rpm, but I suspect Eno & Shields made it deliberately to confuse people.

I ripped a copy from my vinyl onto my computer and the times were exactly the same at 33 1/3.

33 1/3 is correct, though it doesn't say it anywhere on the record. I started off with the new track "The Weight of History," and I was confused if I was playing it at the correct speed, too. I tried it at 45 but that didn't sound quite right. When I flipped over the record and played "Only Once Away My Son," I noticed that it sounds correct at 33 1/3 compared to the already released digital file.

Did anyone feel their copy was a dodgy press?I know it's experimental / dramatic naturally, but was really distored and overly loud.Mixer was firing red lights even with channel gain and master turned right down.

As an audio engineer I don't know what this is supposed to mean. Just spun my copy and it sounds great with no skips. Any distortion sounds absolutely intentional.
